Juana Briones Wall Preservation
All that remains of Juana Briones’ original homestead, the unique wall needed conservation for museum display. The wall segment, combining early wood members with adobe infill, represents the transition from adobe masonry to Early American framing technology. The Sanchez firm preserved the wall by securing wood members and adobe soil so it could be exhibited. |
